  • Michel Pons

    Michel Pons

    Michel Pons has been working for 25 years in the Space Transportation domain at the CNES Launchers Directorate. He is presently Senior Launchers Expert at the Launchers Vice-Directorate for Strategy and Risk management, encharged of new affairs.

    Michel Pons is the Stave Project coordinator.
  • Céline Bouhey-Klapisz

    Céline Bouhey-Klapisz is working at CNES Programmes and Strategy Directorate, in charge of European programmes.
    She is part of the management team of the STAVE project, assisting the coordinator in the administrative and management tasks, including the implementation of the website.
    She is involved in WP2, under coordination of ASI, in the setting up of the network of contacts in new member states and in the organisation of the workshops.
  • Cristiana Cirina

    Cristiana Cirina, employed at the Italian Space Agency in the Strategy and National and International Dept., where she is in charge of several activities included the ones relevant to STAVE project.

    Cristiana Cirina is coordinator of the STAVE International Relations work package (WP2).
  • Prof. Wolfgang Koshel

    Professor W. Koschel was Director of the DLR test center of Lampoldshausen, specialized in the liquid space propulsion engines tests. He is member of the Ariane Technical review team for launches. Prof Koschel is responsible of the Stave "Expression and Presentation of the technical need" work package.

  • Pascal Fortunier

    Pascal Fortunier has been working for more than 20 years in the Space Transportation domain at the CNES Launchers Directorate. He is presently Senior Launchers Propulsion Expert at the Launchers Technical sub-directorate.
    Pascal Fortunier is coordinator of the Stave work package "Skills identification, analysis and valorisation".WP4

  • Christophe Bonnal

    Christophe-Bonnal.jpgChristophe Bonnal has been working for more than 25 years in the Space Transportation domain, first in Astrium then since 1992 at the CNES Launchers Directorate. He is presently Senior Launchers Systems Expert at the Launchers Technical sub-directorate.
    Christophe Bonnal is chairman of the Space Transportation Committee at IAF and 3AF and member of IAA.

  • Patrick Mourey

    Patrick MoureyPatrick MOUREY has been working for 18 years in the Space Transportation domain at the CNES Launchers Directorate, after a first experience in Nuclear Power Plant industry. He is presently Senior Launchers Mechanics Expert at the Launchers Technical Directorate.

    He is Senior expert for the Stave project.

  • Marcello Onofri

    Marcello Onofri is Doctor in Civil Engineering from University of Rome “La Sapienza” (USR) where he teaches today “Aerospace Propulsion” and “Aircraft Engines”.
    From 2002 he was named Director of the Master for graduated students in “Space Transportation Systems.
    Prof Marcello Onofri is the senior expert delegated by ASI for participation to the STAVE project.


CNES is coordinator of the project (WP1), involved in International relations & communication (WP2), involved in the Expression and Presentation of the Needs (WP3), responsible for Skills identification, analysis & valorisation (WP4).
Staff from Headquarters International Relations Department will contribute, bringing their knowledge and experience of cooperation with Eastern Countries in Space related projects.
In its contribution to the technical work packages, CNES will provide senior experts in project management, systems, propulsion, structures & dynamics, backed by assistance staff from the technical, international relations and administrative directorates.

ASI is Coordinator of the WP2 "International relations and communication": Identification of the contacts in the different countries, activation and animation of the network. Organisation of meetings for the presentation of the project.
ASI contributes also to the "Expression and presentation of the needs" (WP3) under DLR coordination and to "Skills identification, analysis & valorisation" (WP4) under CNES coordination.

DLR agency will contribute to international relations & communication networking (WP2) based on already existing experience and knowledge on collaborations with East European countries. DLR agency will be responsible of the Expression and Presentation of the Needs (WP3).
DLR R and D will take over the role of experts evaluating the skills based on its technical expertise on launcher systems and launcher propulsion technologies and research and will contribute to the WP4.
Administrative and management support will be contributing to funds management and reports delivery in a work-split by the involved DLR staff.
